Barn Stars

I am so glad I finally get to post about these two Barn Stars I made for my wonderful Sister-in-Laws for christmas. They finally recieved them in the mail just 2 days ago! (sent them to the wrong address--OIY!) I had so much fun making them. I really tried to personalize them for each one. Anyways, here they are:

Recipie Swap

Well, I finally got my layout done for a recipie swap that I am taking part in. I decided that instead of pulling out all of my scrapbooking crap, I would do a digital layout and then print (much easier to do rather than doing the same layout 10 times over)! WOOT! It worked!

So, without further ado, here it is:

Scrapbook Night - August 29th

Ok, wow! How pathetic am I? It seems that I haven't scrapbooked in A-G-E-S!! Thank goodness I have been feeling that itch to scrap again...I have sure missed it.
Anywho, I was able to scrap this last Friday night with some of my friends and this is what I accomplished:

One 2 page layout

2 cards made from scraps

Sad, huh? Oh, well...it was a blast anyway!

Oh, this is a layout I did sometime ago...thought I'd post it:

Happy Scrappin'!

Scrapbook Challenge February 22-29!

Ok, so, I decided I needed to start a blog for my scrapbooking. I've been really wanting to post pictures of my pages that I've made, but I have not wanted to post them on my family blog. So, I now have my own scrapin' blog!

Anywho, I am participating in challenges from a team off of Sparkpeople called Scrap-to-lose. This is this weeks challenge:

- scrapbook ANY page! Something is ALWAYS better than nothing!
- continue posting your first pages that you ever scrapbooked! I am LOVING this challenge!
- This is a Leap Year, and this challenge ends on February 29, the "extra day". Use a little something "extra" on your page that you wouldn't ordinarily use. Ribbons, eyelets, brads, patterned paper, stamps, fibers, buttons... anything "extra" that you have on hand!

This is what I did for the challenge:

I used something "extra"--I don't really like eyelets (too much work! LOL) but I used them anyway. Gave me an excuse to use the Crop-a-dile I got for christmas. I love it!

This one I chose to use paper clips that I don't normally use. It's not quite done yet, but you get the idea.
